I've ordered the UE-11 pros and have just sent payment today.
The impressions were shipped from Toronto via UPS Ground all the way
down to California, and took a total of 10 days to get there. The problem is,
I haven't put any foam or other protective material inside the box the impressions were in to prevent them from moving around during transit. That small box was packed in a larger UPS box. I'm worried that they have been deformed, and that I will end up with a completely bad fit. Any thoughts on this?

Should be fine - the ear impression compound sets pretty hard.

If the material was mixed and made correctly, it'll be hard enough to take a little beating. My first pair of impressions wasn't mix correctly, and it was still "wet" in some spots leaving deformations. I had them redone and they were as hard as a cushion.

The audiologist who did my impression recommended it be sent overnight. Reason being delivery trucks can get hot and causing the impression to deform. This time of year, no heat!!! so your ok!

Thanks for the replies! I think I can breathe now...
and actually, I'm working at Logitech as an intern right now so I had a chance
to get them for 50% of their original price! I guess I'm really lucky.

nice! i get 50% off shures from my job but daym i wish i had those UE. oh well win some lose some. can't complain.
