I ordered two amps along with the HD650. One is Gilmore Lite from headAmp because I heard good things about it. The other amp is an opamp with JRC4556 chip off ebay...questionable at best but I thought it would work for portability. My main concern is will the JRC4556 opamp ruin the HD650 cans in the long run?

I suggest simply connecting your HD650 to the leads of a car battery, spectacular sound that way. Stay away from the opamps though

To the OP. As koven noted, it will not. But I am curious. Why did you think it might? There may be other newbees with the same question or in need of information.

If you feed it with ****ty music, it will be offended and after a while start sobbing, its not a waterproof headphone
