Will I feel any improvment or diffrence using amp like FIIO E11?

I've only tried one type of amp, a portable E11 and I actually use it often now even with IEM's. I get more clarity or I guess impact at lower volumes. My sources are, phone, ipod or laptop though. I find I don't need as much volume to get the crisp hard hitting bass. With a weak source like my laptop its night and day different.
