Will Audio Technica M50 be good for rock, pop and rap ganres?
 
if not, what headphones that cost the same (over\ on ear) will be good for this ganers?

I think they have a balanced enough signature that would lend towards being good for a lot of genres.  Perhaps the only genre lacking would be orchestral due to a congested soundstage.

What country are you in? Do they need to be closed or would you consider open? Do you have an amp?

I got back into this using ATH-M50s headphones.  I thought they were quite good for rock.
