Anyone had experience using car audio hi-fi in home set up?
I am thinking to get USB to Optical converter, but surprisingly they are very rare. I do not trust Chinese budget-friendly stuff (Gustard and alikes), and they actually measure quite poorly. At the same time buying something that costs like another DAC does not make any sense.
Audio-technica AT-HRD1 has decent specs and costs ~150 USD. But I am unsure if it can work with normal DC adapter (not car battery).
