will adding Headphone amp to rme adi 2dac significantly increase sound quality?

My budget is already to max so I ordered smsl sp200 which is under $300. I will give it a try and see if this helps or not.

Did you ever get that SP200? If your budget was under 300 my reccomendation would have been an Asgard 3 or Darkvoice. They may not be necessarily better, but they'd give you something different.

Im using hd 650 and just bought external spsl sp200 headphone amp. I will see if this helps this or not.

I honestly think it might be the headphones. Both of my Sennheisers sound horrible on the RME. I have no idea why but the rest of my collection sounds amazing. I am also curious what an amp might add and at what cost.
