My phone is a recent make phone but has a Micro-USB socket.

Will a micro-usb to usb-c adapter enable it to work with the Fiio BTR5?

it should work, used it for my dap. also saw a reviewer mention that they used the cable to transfer between galaxy s7 (micro-usb) to s10 (usb-c). otherwise i usually prefer my btr5 using bluetooth with my phone for the convenience anyway
