Wierd Pimeta Problem + noob questions

So I try this method with a fresh 9v. DC shows 9.2 with amp off. I turn it on, it drops to 9.1 and I notice it dropping .01 every few seconds. Music keeps playing, but will likely die within a few hours.

So in the end, there was nothing was wrong with my pimeta, it's just that it eats up batteries like nothing.. Though my dmm skills is lacking severely. What to do now..



damn wish i saw this thread sooner. my very first thought was "one 9v......is it dead?" 9v is low voltage man

a decent solution if you have the space is to build a 10 or 12 cell sub-c pack. get some GP 3300's for pretty cheap. only prob is a charger for this. but you will get some VERY nice runtimes
