I really hate to jump on bandwagons but all I can hear when I listen to that is how bad the sessions must have sounded... Remind yourself when you listen to this that this has been "fixed". I feel for the engineer.

I think it sounds pretty awesome. Maybe it's not something I would listen to habitually, but it made me think and feel, which is what art should do.

A multitracked vocal (throughout) is the first sign that the singer sucked. And when they double up your voice, then filter it and it's still bad....yikes!

watching that video,my main question is: does she really have that ugly tatoo on her arm that they need to cover up?

Honestly, Scarlett Johansson has never impressed me. She's only beautiful because of her youth, there's nothing classical or lasting in her look. Her features are blunt and average. I've seen plenty of photos where she looks awful. I'm guessing she's in her early 20s at best. You'll never see her again after she hits 30. She's like The Movie's "really hot girl in my high school class" that really wasn't the hot in the long run...

I agree with the first part. I would have thought she was going for a Liz Phair kind of Sinead O'Connor thing, but the filters and mixing just scream that she doesn't even sound good enough to do that.

The second part of the post is useless. She's a solid actress and her looks don't add or detract from that one way or the other, and don't mean anything to her worth. It's not her fault no one in Hollywood can write decent parts for women over 30 and under 60.
