Um..i can understand that some recordings mastered better, some worser...BUT RHCP is completely terrible quality-i've digged up californication cd and i can't understand what the **** they're thinking-it's totally impossible to listen-crazy distoprtions, hiss, etc.
So why recording labels approve and release such crappy sq cds?? Their latter albums (by the way, stadium..) are lil better but still subpar.
Also, if somebody have RATM's Renegades...same crap here...

in terms of CD mastering, BSSM and before was pretty good sounding. Californication, By the Way, and Stadium Arcadium are sh!te.

The vinyl version of Stadium Arcadium mastered by Steve Hoffman, however, is amazing/

I just listened to Californication on iTunes. The first track wasn't so bad, but the second track...I just couldn't listen anymore.

I guess I've been spoiled rotten from the vinyl of Stadium Arcadium though...
