i've been looking for a set of iems for a while that are comfy, warm fatigue free sound and wont break in 2 days - i found the sennheiser cx 3.00 on amazon and i saw lachlans review of it and it seems pretty nice! but why aren't they more popular? when i ask people for iems they always recommend stuff from companies i never heard of like carbon tenore and dunu trident...and why tho?? why not senn HEIIIII SERRR

SENN HEISERRRR GERMAN BMW!!!!

ES IST ZEIT FÜR RACHE!!!

I have the CX-2.00's and find them to be just fine for the price. I only use them at work from my phone but they work quite well for me. I think a lot of people want to get away from established brands as they might think newer entries might be more hungry to get out there and produce better products at a lower price. That is just a thought don't know what people are thinking. In that price range there are just so many.

yeah true, i can see that people really love the sound of the carbon tenore and the dunu trident, but then when i read their reviews it seems that most of those iems and even brands like xaoimi tend to break after a month or 2, where as sennheiser offers TWO YEAR WARRANTY - and that really shows that they stand behind their build quality cus i seen even lot of headphones that only offer 1 year warranty at max. And looking at the videos it seems like they put a lot of thought into the build and i really like the tiny details like putting a splitter in the tip of the silicon pad with a bezel around it :O

i love sennheiser....but either way the cx 3.0 should be better than beats AMIRIGHT??

I have a pair of HD-280pros that I have had for maybe 8 or 9 years and they are still intact though I don't listen to them much anymore. They do make quality products as I have the HD-700's also.

I owned the predecessor of these ones (the CX300 mkII) and thought they sounded decent for the price. Pretty good build too. However, if trustedreviews claim that these new ones have even more bass is true, I think the bass levels are getting ridiculous as the old model already had more than enough. This may also explain why it isn't getting much attention here. Most people on this forum appear to like a more neutral sound - more neutral than these appear to be anyway.

As for beating beats... well, the ibeats maybe, but when I listened to the tour 2 recently I was surprised by how smooth and... decent for lack of a better word, it sounded despite the clearly elevated (mid)bass. They are of course almost twice the price of the ones you're looking at, but I do think they are probably quite a bit better sounding too (but again, I haven't actually heard the CX3.00, let alone A-B'ed the two).
