I am both shocked and almost insulted to see that banner up to tell you the truth. There must be a reason for it surely there is but we need an answer. Next thing you know Bose will do the same

I don't intended to make this a bashing thread let me make that clear I'm just voicing my opinion on this. We as a audiophile community seem to unanimously prefer audio from every other company except Skull candy and I believe that there is a very good reason for it. We have way to many young new members coming here for advise to be swayed by marketing.

Google Ads, which seems to be more or less out of control.

They make headphones? And believe or not, they are generally better than stock ipod earbuds? Some of their **** is actually "Okay" compared to headphones you get with CD players, etc. So.... babysteps man. Babysteps.

Im just concerned were giving newcomers the wrong idea since many come to this sight with the knowledge in hand already that bose and skull candy are great headphones at there price...when there really not.

All the skull candy stuff I've seen has been around $30. I'm not sure what you're getting for that much that's so much better.

Other than the ones mentioned, Sennheiser PX100/CX400/CX500, SoundMagic PL-30, JVC Marshmallows, and if you want to jump just up to $50, Nuforce NE-7M blows anything from Skullcandy out of the water period.
