Why don't you guys recommend the SR-60's very much.

Not necessarily improve, as it is changing the sound. Flats/senns put you on stage as the singer, you actually feel like their voice is coming out of your mouth. The bowls put you on stage as well, but it's more like your very close to the singer instead of "being" them.

the rat shack pads are weird. they dont seem to fit right because they are too small. the senn pads are good though, but the flats are still the best albeit less comfortable then the senn pads. maybe i should write a review since i have all the pads. comments?

The SR-60 is a good introduction to the Grado line. But if you'll be sticking with the stock comfy pads, I'd recommend cutting a quarter-sized hole in the centre of each pad, as the unmodded comfies which completely cover the drivers with a thick piece of foam tend to muffle and granulate the sound from the SR-60.
