Why doesn't anyone rip their music in .WAV?

i am a straight to wav man here

all my lossless is wav

itunes can use a non embedded tagging system when direct from CD, you can also use other automated software that will embed RIFF tag data built from folder structure.

its just that not many music players support RIFF tag, itunes sure doesnt.

i got sick and tired off having different lossless containers for differing sources.

its much easier this way, for me at least.
