Hello Guys.
 
I was hoping someone can shed light on why my Final Audio Fi BA SS and AKG 3003i sound so much fuller via my Iphone or AK100 than via my Desktop rig with Slee Solo Ultra Linear amp? The Slee has no noise issues with the IEM, in fact it is dead silent. It is said that it was designed with IEM usage. With all the IEMs it sounds quite lean. When using my Audeze or Fostex Headphones it sounds great with full tones!!!!!
 
Forgot to mention that my desktop rig consists of Lampizator transport and Lampi DAC going into the Slee. 
 
Do all IEM sound better via portable devices or portable amps?

synergy, it could be your iem just sounds better with a cheaper dac and or amp behind it, as the lesser expensive gear tend to have more coloration, where as in theory the more expensive gear should be more transparent 
 
either way, no each iem is different and never make any assumption about an iem or HEadphones sound quality without hearing it for your self, in this particular case your iem sounds better to you ears with your portable DAP, I'd just be happy with that and nJoy it!
