Why does Amazon have so much Klipsch X10 stock? They're still selling for $84.99

I'm wondering why they're still selling for this price.

I bought a set but I was planning on making my money back. I might end up not opening them and trying to sell to a foreigner.

Not really sure.

I ordered a pair but decided to cancel the order when I saw the price didn't drop for 2 days straight.

My guess would be because they are officially discontinued by Klipsch.

I'm really liking the pair I got. They're similar to the UE700s, but with a less harsh high frequency range. Microphonics are worse than the UE700.

Klipsch x10has more bass than the UE700s, but to my ear, the major differentiator is the HF. I've only had the X10s a short while and am still doing critical listening. I like their ambience a lot.

Yeah they have a really unique sound. Very lush, textured bass; I prefer it even to my DT770's bass sometimes. In fact I think I prefer it to everything but SM3 bass.

I totally agree with you on that, the X10's bass is very nice and I love the texture and speed of them.  I didn't think that the bass warmed up the mids when I first started to listen to them but know I can hear it with some track the bass warming up the lower mids and it sound quite good.
