I bought a pair of SZ2000's back in march, new, for $190ish.

I'm looking all over ebay and amazon and the cheapest I can find new SZ2000's are in the $300-$400 range?!?!

honestly - i think it's just supply and demand. they were way underpriced for how well they perform - now they're tough to find new...

Real answer: JVC stopped production of them is why.

exactly: no more production means limited supply. mix that with high demand, and prices skyrocket. plus they're pretty unique - i'm auctioning mine right now on eBay - might be a bad move but honestly they just don't fit by big noggin very well...

Thought about auctioning mine off, but then realized that nothing compares to the concussion inducing kicks to the head that them things induce. Its a nice thing to break out every once in a while, albeit at great physical risk.
