First off, I'd like to say I can promise you the difference is there as long as you are listening.
I love my TF10s but the cables are terrible, it's not that they are bad overall, just a bad choice of material. It's to stiff. I like the idea of the memory wire near the monitors as well so you can wrap them around your ears. However, my specific pair of TF10s is unbalanced which is why I'm getting the eBay user to send them back to Amazon, the replacements from Amazon are actually on their way back to him. They are far from flat though if that's what you're looking for though. The mids are very recessed at times but it could just be my less than stellar left driver throwing off the sound. The highs are very sparkly and clear, I enjoy them emensely and the female vocals are to die for. The bass is very clear and clean. I think I'm going to reshell the replacement pair for better mids and then I'll slap on a better cable to make them really shine. The fit is honestly really excellent for me but comfort is just a little off. I'm able to wear them for hours and hours on end but they aren't as perfect as I'd like.
Just found-out that I can get the 'Klipsch Image X10' (without microphone and control), as it's on sale at amazon (UK). Anyone know if it's good, usually costs way more...
And if I buy it and then don't like it, anyone know the chances of me being able to exchange it for a Westone 2 or Etymotic HF2/3/5?
