Rumours are that August 7th will be the day imacs and ipod video/nano will be updated.. Being the gossip trusting creep i am, my zune was sold on ebay a couple of days back

Now just using my clix2 (4GB!! wooh so much space

) while hoping the next ipod would sound at least as good as the 5g

Anyone else or am i alone here?

Edit: April and August.. so similar yet so different

yeah I sold my d2 for it. It will be announced 7th august I believe. I think the ipod 6g and zune 2.0 will motivate apple and microsoft to make a much better player than the other one. So we will be seeing some serious improvement. Will be good times

I hate to break it to you guys, but the press event on August 7th has been stated to be Mac only. There will not be a new iPod that day. I'd guess September.

because there have been rumors of the X7 for years. i'm not paying attention to them until i hear something substantial, meaning from Cowon.


i wouldn't sell anything i have for anticipation. i'd sell my stuff after it came out, just to make sure other people like it. i've done that with every player i've owned, save for the D2.
