... to build a "Tiny Tin" Altoids amp? C'mon, you have 2-3/8" x 1-1/2" to work with.

Interesting. Is that circuit designed for use with a 9V, eric343? -- becauase otherwise it's very small for no apparent reason.

The reason I ask about building an amp into a "Tiny Tin" is because unlike the freakish designs some people have made, it's still useably large. With the right kind of battery there's room for a decent sided board, a pot, and in/outs.

That's my circuit layout, and it fits into a mint tin that's very similar in size to this Altoids Tiny Tin. There are some small differences, but my circuit could probably fit into the Altoids Tiny Tin, too. And yes, it still allows room for a 9V battery as well.

What you don't have room for is I/O jacks, so in my final revision of that amp I put the amp inline with a headphone extension cable to act as a powered booster.
