Maybe Apogee?

They supply the unit with a cable, which by Head-fi standards, is pretty poor construction/materials and does not have RCA male plugs.

The Duet comes with quarter inch to RCA converters so you can attach the Duet directly to your amp.

Darn nice cable. How much did it set you back?

I just picked up a Duet today...Merry Christmas to myself...So I would be interested in learning more about the member's DIY cables, etc.
Has anyone checked out the break-out box:Apogee duet: BREAKOUT
He sells them on ebay for $85.00 plus shipping.
The cables above look very nice as well.

I looked at that myself before i ordered my cable, if your going to use the duet to it's full potential and be recording with it then its probably a good long term solution.

But if your only using it as a DAC and only need the RCA outputs i would put the money towards a good breakout cable instead.
