I'm running an x-can v3 into my AKG 501s. It offers a slightly fuller sound than my Meridian preamp headphone output, but there is some loss of clarity in the sound compared to the Meridian, and the background is significantly less 'empty'.

I'd be very grateful if someone could give me some indication of what I might expect to get out of a proper power supply.
