ER4s have the deepest bass of any headphone I've heard so far, but perfectly flat and combined with the lack of supraural sensation, it sometimes sounds less than exciting.

So add +3dB from 150hz on down, and there's your solid bassline!

On another note I just tried mine on another new amp. It's amazing what a difference an amp makes to the ER4s.
