same with audio, and of course discretionary available is relative, but best to not shuffle up. course you are right, go up market makes makes down market a bit more challenging. what i do is use a go to, say delwhinney 15 to take the pressure to consume premium. course for the oligarchs out there, no limits.

Not 36 $ but crown Royal extra rare XR contains the last liquid from the legendary LaSalle Distillery. I’m nurturing it, it’s delish

Any whiskey especially rare and expensive will be sold out and never found again in Canada. Doesn’t matter if it’s 2500$ for dalmore 25 year or delwhinney 30 at 800$. Buy it or it’s gone forever in a week or two. It’s like housing in Toronto and gta, it’s demand is infinite.

Over the (many) years my “go to“ is Glenrothes Speyside single malts.

Today (my birthday) I received this:

Never heard of prior, a fantastic surprise and tastes superb. Enjoying at this very moment with new Kings of Leon album (also superb) released today.

Compared to the aforementioned Glenrothes this Arran is a step up.
