Newb question here. What are the differences between e4 and e4c. I understand the C stands for consumer. Are the differences purely aesthetic or do they change the sound between the two?

It's still up in the air for me though I did vote for the E4's based solely on product loyalty. Like the build quality of the shure's having stepped & sat on them with no effect, probably wudda busted a pair of Ety's by now.

The black UE's look hot and I like what I am hearing about their mids... I'll wait until someone who has heard both writes a review though.
