HI, I recently purchased an AKG K702. Since I love enjoying music myself, yet, pretty new to the audiopile world, I am looking for a good amp for this new toy.

Can any one give me some suggestion?

Thank you

Portable would be rare as the 702 is harder to drive than your average headphone. I've heard them sound satisfying with a TTVJ Portable Hybrid. There will be others stopping by to share their experiences. Welcome to Head Fi and sorry for your wallet/purse/credit/checking/savings/retirement/401k/college fund........

Look for something that's got at least 9V or more. I've tried a K701/2 with a couple portable usb dac/amps and they weren't quite up to snuff. They were ok, but a more power goes a long way for the K702.

thank you for all your suggestion.
I was thinking to get a iBasso D6 or D12 or Pico Portable AMP/DAC.
I know the AKG K702 after I made the purchase

and, I am using my Audio Technica ESW9 with Cowon S9.
Try to ask around to see if anyone would come up some experience on the portable amp for K702

I would go with the D6. My D10 was not enough power to push the K702 to satisfaction.
