I would go with Gould. I know some people on here don't really like him, but he was the pianist that started my foray into classical music and I prefer his interpretations (irregardless if he played it the way it was "supposed" to be played). Even Richter himself admired Gould's playing and started that he himself could not play as well as Gould.
