Hi guys,
Junior Head-fi'er trying to get a great setup on his first try.
I am trying to decide where my money is better spent. Can someone who has listened to both tell me which would sound better.
A laptop to Pico (w/DAC) or iMOD with V-Caps and Xin Supermicro. My IEMs will most likely be SE530s.
I would easily choose the iMOD if the whole setup didn't cost so much just to get the protability. 75% of my "critical" listening will probably done at home. Regardless, I don't want to debate on which once is better based on protability or home use. I just want to know which one sounds better "period".
