Which signatures are you favourites?

IIRC, there actually is a Team Denon PCDP that pops up every time a DCP-150 is found on eBay and Team Folding@Home has a large following on the board. But I made up Team Girl-Fi and some other members just added the tag-line to their signature. But for a while, I was the only member. There probably are a few dozen bigger teams like Team Grado/Sennheiser/Etymotic/Source First, but there are going to be many many more obscure teams. I think it would be fun to compile a list of the teams and their followers though.

Yeah, I know, it's sick.

I remember that. Whose was it? I knew it originally came from L & O, said by Jerry Orbach.

The quote is: "when I die, I want to die like my grandfather, peacefully
in his sleep; not screaming like the passengers in his car." I forget who had that sig though. I got a laugh from it more than once.

I don't think merton was a L & O fan. It was in a somewhat prominent member's sig.

As for Teams, yes, there's quite a few. I myself belong to 4, as you can see. HD 280 was first, as I was (and still am) one of the few and the proud, to borrow from the Marines. (sorry Tubes) Folding@Home and Audioscrobbler came about during the respective threads when they were started, more to advertise than anything else. As for Duncan-Itis, well, that was about a year ago when I was collecting PCDPs like mad. Duncan, at that time, was also reviewing and collecting, so I coined the term.

If I remember correctly, Tom Hankins had it in his sig for quite a while...

Yeah, that is it... taken directly from 'Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey'

Funny stuff

I am too lazy to search right now, but my favourite sig is the one that says something about: The president is a good example of the general feeling of a people. Some day everyone will be content and a moron will serve in the White House.

It's tyrion's.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
- H.L. Mencken (1880-1956) Baltimore Evening Sun on 26 July 1920
