Voted 650's, they get the most use for me but I do love my 600's too. My 565 Ovations gather dust as usual, could never get rid of them though, thats where the journey began.

Sennheiser 560 Ovations. Were they available in the US?

I've had the px100 and hd595 for a couple of months , and they have broken in nicely by now. I would say px100 is 8/10 and hd595 is 9/10. They really do sound awesome! Both complement each other nicely. px100 are great for mobility, and the hd595s are excellent for serious listening and computer use.

I've previously used the Grado SR-60s as my main headphones and they are collecting dust since getting the Senns.

Not much loved round here, but still a very nice can IMHO.

It's not that they're overrated, it's that they're priced about 30-35% higher than their sq warrants.

It's what the market will bear, though, which says something about the market.

I wonder how the ratio of HD580/600 owners is amongst the "current" group of Head-Fi members vs the "previous batch" of Head-Fi members, considering the bargain pricing of the HD580 as of late.

I fail to see how you can say they are priced more than their sq warrants... as if there were some definite price they are worth? EVERYTHING is worth what the market will bear, and worth absolutely nothing if no one will pay for it no matter what it measures by another rubric...

The only way to even consider that would be relatively speaking with a base line comparison headphone. But if you look at it that way, other headphones are far more overpriced (esp as you get into more expensive headphones). Grados, L3000s anyone?

PX200
&
Sold my HD580 and got a RS130

I'm impressed with its performance; it sounds almost as good as HD580 with strong output, not to mention the 100m range.
Really great for home use
