[Hifi Man]

So my cable broke recently on my Sennheiser Momentum headphones. Although I don't really like the headphones and I want to upgrade soon, I don't feel like returning the headphones for half the money I paid for them a year ago. I dunno if I should get the fabric cable or the other cable. My experience with fabric cables is that they develop little kinks in the weaving pattern where one strand of the ultra thick fabric juts out and you can't put it back into place and it bends the whole cable and you eventually have to cut the fabric to fix it. Otherwise I would get the fabric cable.

Is it still under warranty? If so, I'd contact Sennheiser and see if they'd send you a replacement cable for free. Better than shelling out more money for a headphone you don't really like.
