Hi there,
I am looking at various boxes cluttering my hifi rack and wonder if I could consolidate some of the equipment in one box, especially since I am planning on a major upgrade of my speaker rig.
Do you guys know of a reference preamp that handles headphones and phono output extremely well? I'd even take a look at a integrated if the above criteria would be met. Generally I prefer a fleshed out sound with ample extension.
From his credentials and experience with individual products, Ray Samuels would be the guy to ask. I mentioned this somewhere else: A Hornet level head amp combined with a lesser version of his XR-2 phono amp would be great. Unfortunately, none of his current products offers this combined functionality. Maybe in the future? Ray?
