I have been running Rockbox for years on various iPod classics and have been very happy with the sound quality and interface. I just sold my last iPod classic and am looking for a new player. I am done with Apple and spinning disk, so it's time to move on to something with SD type storage. Below is a list of the few things I would like in the player.

Easy to read display (My eyes aren't what they use to be)
Stable OS. (Don't want to have to reset the player all the time)
Works with Linux. (Not a must, but would like to be able to access it from a Linux desktop)
Would like to keep the price around $200, not including the SD card.
Bluetooth would be nice, but not a must.
Don't mind it being a little bulky.
Would like the hardware to be something that will last a while if handled with care.

I will only be using the unit to listen to music, so video playing capability is not a must.

There seems to be a ton of players out there, so I am not sure where to start researching. Whatever suggestions anyone has would be appreciated.

Thanks
