Looks like my search skills are not as good as they could be.

I'm having a hard time finding a list of the portable DAC/Amps that have an optical in port, for connecting a digital source (for example, an iRiver iHP120).

I see the the iBasso D2 has this feature.

I'd appreciate a pointer to a list of the others.

Just to be clear, by "portable" I mean battery-powered, not just "small and transportable."

D1 is a dynamite little amp. Headroom makes an amp in the Micro Line with optical in - I just auditioned it at CanJam on Saturday.

The iBasso D2 doesn't have optical in. As far as I can remember, I think only the iBasso D1 does.

The Headroom Micro Portable Amp would be the only other one, unless you get the 2006-or-earlier Micro DAC and separate amp. The iBasso D1 is probably the best deal, though. I've been seriously considering one for use with my own H120.

I just got the HeadRoom Portable Micro Amp with the DAC option... great sounding DAC, amp is just passable. The DAC is a big improvement on the previous Micro DAC. Currently feeding a Lisa III XP into UE9s.
