I have never heard of the Denon.
I recommended the AKG to a friend, and she liked it, if that counts for anything.

jeez.....say abit about what sort of music you listen to, through what source.....In my experience through headphone stores, they both sound like ****, you are better off with ES7, HD25, sony V6, and Rp-21
