After good recommendation about portable sealed headphones, I'm looking at open headphones like Grado's under 100$, to listen only at home.

I am not a big basshead since I don't listen to rap or dubstep,  but I like the good kick of the drum.
 
I know that SR60i is recommanded (I think I'll go with these) but what about the Alessandro MS1i at 99$ ?

I didn't know Grado isn't a good buy. 
I can understand they won't like them if they are basshead but for rock (my favorite) , I read that they are made for this. Weird. 
 
Is the MS1 good for Rock/Electro? 
 
Thanks fabio for your recommandation, but I don't have more than 100 bucks (I spent 200$ for a V-Moda M80 ^^)

To me the Grado SR-60i is the best of the Grado line up to and including the RS-1i.  The big problem I have with most Grado headphones is comfort, but the SR-60i have the nice comfy pads not the bowl pads so most of the comfort issues can be tolerated.
 
I say if you listen to 70% rock and some metal then the SR-60i would be a great option for under $100.

I'll try the SR60i in local music store but I know they don't have the Alessandro MS1i so that's why I'm asking the difference between both.

I  didn't say that, I  just notice that a good amount of people are unsatisfied with them.
Often you see debates with grados, at very least they are controversed.

Mad Max, I'm a student and I have spent too much money on headphones now ^^ 
I am not an audiophile but want some headphones which are good for money and not too expensive. Thanks by the way.

Then what is the point of even coming to this website? It's not like the SR60 is just the flavor of the month. Notice that almost all of the top regrets are also some of the most highly recommended and frequently purchased, which makes perfect sense.
 
OP, I've owned both the SR60 and MS1 and I definitely felt that the MS1 was worth the extra cash over the SR60 ($20-30). Might be the biggest jump in quality for the least amount of money in the whole Grado line.

Please...if I had listened to the anti-Grado contingent on here I'd have missed out on what have become my favorite headphones by far. There are a lot of fanboys on this site who crusade against Grado at every opportunity.
 
OP, I listened to quite a few sub-$100 headphones and when I came across the SR80s I was in love. From what I understand the 60s are an even better value, as they sound nearly the same as the 80s with just a tad less bass extension. They may or may not be for you, but I highly recommend you listen for yourself. If you don't care for them, thankfully there are many other brands out there to explore. I took the time to find out for myself and I'm thankful I did.

I listened to all of the tracks you posted with my Grado SR80s and their luscious midrange along with their punchy bass really makes those tracks sound good. The Decemberists sound about perfect with this headphone: the guitar is as bright as it ought to be, Colin whats-his-name's voice is featured, and the kick drum has a nice punch. Honestly, these headphones do everything surprisingly well.
