Hi Guys
I was looking to buy Bookshelf Speakers around $400 and after going through various websites, I have finally narrowed down my list to these three speakers:

  1. Paradigm Atom V7
  2. Wharfedale Diamond 10.1
  3. Monitor Audio Bronze BX2

I will use the speakers in a 14 x 14 room without a sub. Looking for suggestions from folks who have owned these speakers or have tested them out.

I have had the BX2s for a couple of years now.  Couldn't be happier with them (indeed, listening to them as I type this).  WhatHiFi thinks the world of them and gave them an award in 2010.  They are situated in a similar size room to the one you mention and easily fill it.

I listen to a mix of classical, jazz, rock, and metal and find that they perform very well with each of those genres.

When I was looking for new speakers I auditioned both the BX2s and the Wharfedales, and my preference was (obviously) for the BX2s.  I haven't heard the Paradigms, although they do have a good reputation.
