Soon (i hope) I'll have a modern console (PS3) and I'm going to use it for games and DVD movies and maybe some mp3s.
I'm looking for a decent headphones and I'm willing to spend max $200.
So it's important they have deep bass and good 3d sound because they will be used for games and movies mainly.

Which of these brands would you recommend:

-Sennheiser (like HD 485 or 280pro)
-Audio Technica
-BD (DT531)
-AKG

I prefer closed though it doesn't really matter.
What do you say?

Highly recommended soundstage wise are the Audio Technica Ax00 series, but my AKG k240 Studio are excellent for movies and games.

But don't they sound as thick as molasses? How does that work for gaming where you want the precise sounds?

I would third the Audio-Technica A900 suggestion if you don't on planning to get an amplifier. A Beyerdynamic DT770 would be great as well if you can find one of the 32 ohm versions under $200.
