which noise to use for burn in

white noise-pink noise-brown noise-frequency sweeps

Sounds delicious!

I would have thought pink noise alone would suffice as it carries equal power across each frequency octave. Personally though, I'm slightly sceptical when it comes to burn-in - I wonder how much of it is in the mind. There seemed to be an improvement in my new headphones after leaving them burning in with pink noise overnight, but no subsequent amount of burn-in made any audible difference.

Apparently, those in the sound science forum swear by using this track for burn in.
