I am looking for a tablet which could play music well, could support USB DAC (usb voltage is demanding here I guess).

Currently I have about three choices:

1) Ipad 3 64GB (iPad mini retina also)

2) Lenovo Yoga Win 8.1 tablets (yet not chosen which would please me)

3) Galaxy Note 3

4th not really expected to be a good sounding / DAC supportive device is Nexus 7 (but I could save more on headphones)

I think Win 8.1 tablets are best because for the full Windows support, but what about comparing them with iOS tablets?
I don't know why but I don't want android. I had HP Touchpad which I liked but I want to try iOS.
Budget is quite small so I am cosidering used stuff.

If you are using an external usb DAC, then provided your DAC works with the chosen device, they will all sound the same! USB voltage will not matter at all.

I am considering getting Lenovo Yoga tablet: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/tablets/lenovo/yoga-tablet-series/yoga-tablet-2-win-10/#tab-tech_specs

But it has only micro USB. Is it a big disadvantage when using external DAC or it simple needs an adapter, to let's say Dragonfly?

Thanks

I would personally prefer windows too, if you don't mind the bigger 10 inch is harder to carry around and hold. More software you can use with it, especially foobar.

As for the usb, a usb to micro adapter is a few dollars on ebay, you would have to get an adapter for all your other choices anyway.

At that price I would consider other amp/dac combos like the Fiio offerings, since the dragonfly is not battery powered, the power from a micro usb port may be more limited than normal usb.
