Nice rig, enjoy your new amp. HD650 and K701 benefit more than enough from a good amp that you should see a nice improvement with the Ultra.
which is better head room ultra micro dac+ultra micro amp or head room desktop amp/dac??

Thank you!! I like all of my cans,but I like k702 the best!!

The only cans I've been able to use with my current setup are the D5000s and ATH-A700s (old headphones, let's pretend I don't own those). The D5000s sound amazing on it.
I'm having a tough time deciding on my next headphone purchase though, luckily I'm currently all tapped out of money, so I have some time to think about it. I'm torn between DT880, HD650, K701/2, or just paying to upgrade my D5000s (Lawton Audio wood cups, Jena Labs cable, markl mod).

Because HD650 is customized easily!! There are so many exchange cable,for example ALO CABLE,ZU cable and cardas cable so on!!

I think D5000`s sound is amazing and beautiful too.I recommend to you that you should buy HD650 or upgrade your D5000!!
Because HD650 is customized easily!! There are so many exchange cable,for example ALO CABLE,ZU cable and cardas cable so on!!
you can enjoy various sound by HD650!!
