I am currently tossing between the SE530, SA6, Image X10, Image X5, and TF10s.

My source is a Cowon D2 and using a Pico as the amp. I have MD5000s and love their sound. But they are much too big and cumbersome to be used portably. Anything that would sound similar or have a signature that strays the least from the MD5000s would be what I'm looking for.

Maybe it would help if you specified the characteristics of the MD5000s. Are you sure that the differences in sound between high-end IEMs like SE530, SA6, Image X10, Image X5, and TF10s are big enough to make them more or less similar to the MD5000s?

Basically a fairly neutral sound with tight but plentiful bass with non recessed mids and treble. Also something that would take advantage of my pico would be a plus.
