Hi All,

I'm thinking of purchasing some new headphones. This will be my first pair of this type of headphones, I stick to in-ear headphones. I'll be using these headphones to take to the library to study or when I'm just zoning out at home listening to music, going on youtube, skype etc. I don't want anything too big so that I can carry it around in my backpack when I need to.

I've been searching google, and some of the headphones that I've been looking are:

1. BOSE - QuietComfort® 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® headphones
2. KEF's M500 (http://www.amazon.com/KEF-M500-Hi-Fi-Headphones-Aluminium/dp/B00CYBOUO0)
3. Bower's Wilkins P5 (http://www.amazon.com/Bowers-Wilkins-Mobile-Stereo-Headphones/dp/B003IHUHGE)

What do you guys think? I'm open to other suggestions, so just holla!

Cheers!

what other's headphones have you tried and what did you like about those headphones
lastly what is your budget, and are you willing to buy used!

I've mainly been using the apple headphones, currently using the one that came with the iphone 5. So this will be my first type of on-ear/around-hear headphones. I listen to different types of music, it really varies from, deep house/future/garage, rock, alternative, etc. 300 dollars is the maximum I'm willing to spend.

Looking at your list, you might also consider the amperior, momentum on-ear, or one of the many Audio-Technica portables.

Sure, I'll check it out. Any models in particular?
Will you need an integrated mic for Skype?

Yes, that would be useful!

Hello!

My vote goes to Sony MDR-1R or the Sennheiser Momentum Classic (if at all you can find one at your price range! I heard someone got it for around 200 euro only). If you wanted something neutral, excellent imaging and soundstage, I'll go for PSB M4U1

Hope it helps!
