Just need them to be light and comfortable, I'd use them on the bus, at school or car.
 
I mostly listen to metal ( specially thrash and death), but also post-rock, stoner and shoegaze stuff, some alternative rock too.
I really like to hear the bass, I really really do, so I need something with a damn loud bass, but without sounding "like a woofer" (if that makes any sense?)- there are some great bass lines in death metal songs, and IRon Maiden of course - and the headphones have to be as loud as possible since my damn phone max volume sucks.

If you can't get thoughs then a good common brand would be like the S4 or hell if you really just want bass you can't get more common than Beats.

Seconding the S4's. Look around and you can get them for around $70. Awesome buds for the price. If you can use that deal on the MG7's and are okay with spending a tad more, do it. Listening to mine right now (Burzum's latest album "Umskiptar" to be specific), and they really do shine with the metal.
 
Also, this won't be a popular decision, but to be frank, for listening to metal and if you're not using, like, severely high-quality files (like, 320kbps or lossless or whatever), the Skullcandy Titans WILL suffice. They're not gonna blow your mind, but they really ain't that bad.

I strongly, strongly recommend AGAINST the Klipsch S4. The treble for me was so harsh, it rendered them unlistenable. On top of that, mids are recessed, and that's where most of the crunch in metal music will be. I love Iron Maiden and the S4 did them no justice. I actually bought them for $34 and still found them to not be worth anything close to that price in sound quality.
 
If OP can use eBay, the answer for his question begins and ends with Vsonic GR06 (strong bass, strong mids, strong volume, $63). If he can't, then maybe Meelectronics A161 (less strong bass, awesome mids, strong volume, $100) or Sony MDR EX310 (strong bass, strong volume, $85).

Don't get s4's. I had them and I hated them. Too harsh, too much hissing. The sound quality wasn't even that good.

The only reason I said S4 is because he said "common" brands and that just popped into my head along with Beats.  The MG7 would be perfect as he really wants strong bass, also the CKS77 would be good to even though I don't care form them because of the mid-bass.

He wants strong bass, but he doesn't want sub woofer bass. That might single out the MG7. 

Something like GRO6 or Sony MDR EX310 would be more suited.

Well when I said they're like a sub in your head that was a little much, while they do have very strong sub-bass (they go deeper than any IEM I've heard) the lack of a mid-bass hump make them sound very clean.  Really some bassheads don't think the MG7 hits hard enough, I personally love mine and the bass doesn't over shadow the mids and highs which are very clean with a monitor like sound signature.

Also the EPH-100 would work great to, probably better than the MG7 for him.  You can get them for $115 from Audio Affair so that might be worth looking into to see if they'll ship to Mexico which I don't see way not.

Strange....that I read on countless occasions MG7 have been dubbed sub-bass kings of Head-fi for their "sub woofer" bass response, yet can be so tame for other applications. If anything when I owned them they were very sub woofer like indeed, actually, I only know of one other IEM that hits that hard .MG7 is the extreme and recommended to all people who come here saying 'I want the most bass possible'  I don't think we want to blow the OP's brains out when he especially said he doesn't want sub style bass.

Hmm, anyhow, Yamaha EPH-100 would be great if reachable in price range.

Phiaton PS210's are pretty badass and have a pretty linear response curve while still maintaining a "Colorful" but not overbearing sound, I am ordering a pair soon.

Yes they are the sub-bass kings but the bass is very clean and the lack of that mid-bass hump makes them less fatiguing.  To me the hit plenty hard but there are some (the CKS77 peeps to name some) that don't like the lack of mid-bass because thats where you get a lot of the hard thumping sound.  Now the MG7 has mid bass but its on the light side but for just great sounding bass and sub-bass I haven't heard anything that comes close.

Wow, so many replies already, of all the forums I've joined this one has the most responsive and useful community, thank you guys.

I'll see what I can get, the only problem with online buying is the damn importation tax ( the $100 headphones after tax and shipping price would cost near to $200).
I think I can buy in amazon with no problem but my mom, a little big problem lol.

I've listened at best buy to different beats and skull candy headphones, from cheapest to the most expensive ones and I didn't like any, specially skull candy, below $100 they all sounded awful.

Bose, sennheisser (i use one of those for gaming) and sony are the easiest to find, which models or series you recommend most? Meanwhile I'll ask aroud for stores with a good stock.

Ps: I never even knew of existence of many of the brands you talked about.
