With the swiss cheese memory I have, I entirely forgot to mention the Philips cans - SBC-HP890 and SBC-HP1000 mostly. The HP1000 is said to be fairly comparable to the HD595 sonically, and it can be had around the 100€ mark. These aren't mentioned frequently around here as they are almost impossible to obtain in the US.
