Which headphone brand would be or is your primary choice,
regardless whether you have more than one pair of headphones or none?
If you do NOT have any headphones which brand would you like most?
You might have listened to various headphones at head-fi meetings or at your friend's house -
which brand would be the preferred one?
You have read threads about all kinds of headphones - which brand does appeal to you most?

Also perhaps in the past you had some headphones (you don't have any right now) and you liked them a lot. What was the brand?

All this leads, more or less, to the following:

Which Are the Most Popular or Beloved Headphone Brands on This Site?

But there is also very important human feeling involved here as well!
This very often makes you prefer one brand over the other one.
Which camp of fans do you belong to? Stax, , ..., Audio Technica, .... ???

In other words, Deep In Your Heart, who are you? Philips, ..., AKG, .... fan?!

It's like at a baseball, American football, basketball, ...., soccer game, ....! Which is your team???
GO AKG! ... GO Beyerdynamics! ... GO Grado! ... GO Stax! GO ???

Question:
Can you predict who will be:
First & how many percent %
Second & how many percent %
Third & how many percent %

I voted for Stax because I object in principle to the notion of a choice labelled "other". Which to my remit, includes Precide, Makers of both the Ergos and The Jecklins.

As of right now (and the past few weeks), Ultrasone is my brand of choice. The PROline 750 just plain rules the roost ATM. I also love Grado of course

The only problem I have with the Ultrasones is that it takes around 15min to succumb to their weird sound signature, but once your ears accept them they just seem to disappear

every time I read one of your posts here, a part of me misses those damn G4 Camino builds. Maybe it's because your icon is still Adiumy. who knows.

AKG, pretty darn sure. I MIGHT be sellable to Stax; slight chance on Grado, since I loved the GS1000, but unless the PS-1 and HP1000 both blew me away, I doubt I'd change my mind.

I voted for Sennheiser, cause their phones usually offer excellent value.
If I could vote for two companies I would also choose Philips.
