i'm a guitarist, when trying to learn guitar parts from songs, i rewind a lot, it would be nice to not have to hold |<< until it starts rewinding.

which hdd based daps are best for lag free fast forward or rewind? prefferably 20gb models thx. there arent any players out there that will let you set a/b repeat like a dvd player right?

iPod would be the easiest.

The scroll wheel allows you to fast forward to any part of the song once you get the hang of how much scrolling means how much fast forwarding. There is a I going along a dotted line that shows where you are in the song that moves as you scroll the wheel. With MP3 - it doesn't even stop as it rewinds, it kind of plays faster.
