I want to invite you all and share thoughts about daps you find has the most bassiest output. I find one dap which can change your IEMs or headphones soundsignature into bassy. It`s Iriver H320 and it has most bassiest sound output.

I can imagine that an iRiver could produce a lot of bass ... was that set "flat," or EQ'd in any way?

Players that EQ well -- for example, iRiver, Cowon, Samsung and Rio -- can be made to sound quite bass-heavy. When I traveled with Shure E3Cs, I had my Rio Carbon EQ'd to add bass to what I thought was a fairly thin sound by the E3s. When I later plugged in Sennheiser PX100s and Atrio M5's to the Rio, which was still EQ'd for more bass, I couldn't believe so much bass (for better or worse) could be conveyed through a portable player and portable 'phones.

From all the DAPs ive owned, I still believe Sony DAPs output the bassiest sounds. Their EQ's are fantastic...especially the new "clear bass" option!
