I narrowed down the DAC candidates to

1. Parasound zdac
2. Schitt Bifrost (uber upgraded)
3. Bladelius USB DAC
4. Meier Audio Daccord

 
So far, I have used the ESS SABRE 32 DAC included in the Oppo BDP-105 blu-ray player. Let me know if you have a good recommendation under my budget $1000.
