Which DAC for WooAudio WA2 + Beyerdynamic T1 ? (Updated)

Hey guys,

I decided to go with the Woo Audio WA 2 for my Beyerdynamic T1. Now I need a ( good

) DAC to connect the WA2 to my computer, which would look like the following:

Computer -> DAC -> WA2 -> T1

I mainly listen to Electronic (Minimal), Classic and sometimes Hip-Hop/Rap.
I really like the Bass of the T1.

Which DAC would you recommend?

Budget is < $1000

For all the amps I've heard with the T1s, the best for your price range was most certainly the WA2 to my ears.

I just ordered a Beyer T1, this is going to be my first high-end headphone. I'm planning to buy the WA2 as an amp and I'm thinking to buy the Schiit Bifrost or the Audio GD 1.32 as DAC.
 
What are your impressions about the WA2 and the mentioned DACs?
 
I already have a Fiio E17. Does it really make a difference if I buy a lot more expensive DAC?

I don't have the WA2, but I do have the Bifrost Uber.  It's one heck of good DAC for the money.  To describe it very succinctly--it's musical.  Very musical.  It's noticeably better than the built in DACs found in my CD players and also my V-DAC II.

DAC is important part of your system, be carefull when choose the DAC. You have expensive amp and cans, not matched DAC will downgrade sound quality.
I don't want to say good and bad DAC, match or synergi is more important.

Please visit Hi-Fi store with your collegue and bring your can,amp...try some DAC with your set.
